Guy Shelton is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, working with individuals, families, and business owners. He supports them when money decisions start to feel confusing, stressful, or hard to sort through.

Much of his work involves helping people slow things down, talk through their options, and make thoughtful decisions around real-life complexity. Guy regularly works through nuanced planning questions and believes clarity comes not from avoiding complexity, but from understanding it well enough to move forward with confidence.

Guy grew up around the financial industry and works alongside his father, Jeff Shelton, a partner at Capital Square. Being an active part of multigenerational relationships early in his career shaped how he approaches his work today—placing a high value on trust, continuity, and showing up well when life changes.

Guy completed the financial planning certificate program at the University of Georgia and holds a Bachelor’s degree from Middle Tennessee State University, as well as a Master of Fine Arts from the Savannah College of Art and Design.
