Currently serving as President, Partner, and Portfolio Manager for Capital Square, LLC, Sandy Maddox currently prefers to build investment portfolios for clients, small business owners, and institutions with investment assets in excess of $2 million by providing them with customized investment plans, recommendations, and services. Normally, other planning topics are reviewed and these include estate planning, long–term care issues, life insurance, and retirement planning. He does accept clients with smaller asset sizes on an exception basis as he believes everyone should have access to professional management. Sandy started his career in financial services and investments with Merrill Lynch in 1991, then continued with AmSouth Investment Services, Inc. through 1998. He became the Branch Manager and Registered Principal for Raymond James Financial Services, Inc., after joining that firm in 1998 and continuing through 2008. Forming Bellwether Investment Group, LLC, with his partners in 2008,  he has accumulated over 29 years in the industry.

Sandy, a nickname his father and mother are responsible for, is extremely involved in his community. As a former member of the Kiwanis Club of Brainerd–Chattanooga, he served in many leadership roles including President, Board Member, and as Lt. Governor for KY–TN District Division 3 for the 2013–2014 term. Additionally, he served as the Fundraising Chairman and Board Member. In the capacity as an Adjunct Professor, and currently an Assistant Professor, he has taught classes for Tennessee Wesleyan University in Athens, Tennessee. Classes taught have been financial investments, corporate finance, and real estate. He is married to Martha Maddox, Associate Dean of the Goodfriend School of Business at Tennessee Wesleyan University in Athens, TN, and they have two children. Matthew recently graduated with a MBA from Tennessee Wesleyan University, and Mary Martha recently graduated with her MBA from TWU as well. Sophia, their Yorkie, is very special to all of the family.
